Trying out the BSM Treble Booster. I got two. This is the 71/73 CM.

While I like this tone, I thought that the vid that you did of the YJM Duncan strat sounded alot better with the YJM and the internal boost...

I hated those PU's  In the room this setup kinda smokes the built-in booster. Here's the other I did-

I dig it!

I'm also amazed that these amplifiers haven't caught on yet lol. I think the tone that you can get out of them is just as good if not better then some of the boutique stuff that are out there and they can be had for 1/10th the Price and I'm not saying that because I'm a dealer now. I would have said this regardless!

Ralph, I've owned quite a few boutique Marshall clones, 3 Germinos, Reinhardt, Blockhead, Soultone, etc.

This YJM had what I llok for in a Strat/ Marshall tone as soon as I turned it on.
The best part is that it HAS a built-in boost, but the fun starts when you turn it off and put anything in front, from fuzzes to OD's, etc. These BSM's are the shit for a Blackmore tone. The tone on the vids isn't dialed, it's just everything at noon, Y-Jacked and both Volumes dimed!

Carl,

I'm glad that you said that because I felt the same way when I plugged into one of these.
The first time I played one I was like anyone looking for a Killer Marshall tone should be happy with one of these and yet the amp is still being met with some resistance hahaha!

Anyway, I dig these amps so much that I took one for myself :D

I think that they did a killer Job with these!

On another note, how much do you want to bet that 5 + years from now that these will be the new Hot Item to collect on Ebay :D lol.

I agree that this amp has THE classic Marshall tone is spaids. By itself it doesn't do anything modern. It is true classic rock in a box. One of the best Marshall I've heard. While I dug the AFD100 I think I prefer this amp to it.

I thought you liked the SD YJMs?

Sounds great, wish I could pick this amp up.

Definitely prefer the Duncans in this 2011 Yngwie. This has deeper scallops too.
I did NOT like the Dimarzio HS-3 in my old one. Very weak, no tone, no output and difficult balancing the 3 PU's volumes

OK, that is what I remember you saying. Yeah the HS-3 is just too weak imo, you had to just destroy the front end of an amp to get things cooking with that pup.
