This is my 2nd Valkenburg “EVL1” sig model.

The original is my Black over Gold, but for this one I opted for White over Black.

Yeah, I know some hate them, but I’m a sucker for a relic Strat style. I’ve gotten pretty far along on the body. It’s 90% done. Need to decide on final pick guard. I like the tortoise but may go black anodized aluminum.

Likely will be Arcane pickups this one but may also go Duncan Black Winter and Quarter Pound. Either way it will be 1 hum/1 reverse slant single line my first build.

Good job!

I would go black guard but that's me. It will add a certain amount of industrialness and I'm not a huge tortoise fan :dunno:

Thanks man! The nice thing about being in bands with the owner is I get to work in awesome guitars and generally have good fun doing it.

Black is definitely on the table for sure. We may have to cut one ourselves from black aluminum.

Mick Mars vibes bro! Love it.
Most definitely! Likely zebra bucker and creme neck single. Wait til you see the neck. I’m a fucking newb and my neck aging looks as well done (in my humble opinion) as any “F” branded custom shop builds as of late.

I see partscasters branded JerEvil in your future my friend... road worn necks can be your niche!

My 3 year plan is to keep working with Valkenburg for sure as I’m learning a ton. I have 4 of my own guitars I’ve designed that I want to prototype and maybe start producing.

I’ll likely go to luthier school to get “certified” but that’s my goal. The wife can retire fully in 3 years and school is a 10-month program.

Put me down for one as long as you don't charge 5k!
