The JCA 20 clip sounds better.

I really think the JCA20 is an awesome amp to mod and tinker with...plus they are build pretty well and the transformers are pretty good as well. I leave mine running for hours and the power transformer only gets warm.

Yeah +1 on those little JCA's for modding.
My SLO modded JCA 22H was so close to my real SLO that I took advantage of the recent price bump and dumped the SLO.
Once you got past 5 on the master, the shear power of the SLO started to take over, but lower than that, the differences were slight, and I actually prefered the JCA.
For $4.5k less
Highly recommended mod platform for sure
