Can you get deals anymore on Ebay? I havent used it in years but it used to be a relatively good place to score deals. Since Reverb and Craigslist I dont bother looking until recently. I tried bidding on several different amps but got priced into the "might as well buy it on Reverb" price range relatively quick.

I listed my Boogie JP-2C this mourning (sic) @.01, that's a good place to start. It will sell, it will be for a bargain price. I had a couple guys that said they'd give $1,500.00 but they backed out when I said I'd take it!!!

Honestly, everything seems a bit jacked up on all spots lately...Reverb, Ebay and Clist. But if you have cash ready to go you can find some deals...a few weeks ago on ebay there was an 81 2204 for 1K shipped, with a metro loop installed...gone in a day. Just monday I saw a Ref F Rackto for 1400...with prices for Fs up to 1900 I thought the rackto was a decent deal.

Yes, I still use it all the time, but the deals generally come from people listing their stuff at low buy it now prizes, coupled with eBay coupons. Do the stars have to align to get real good deals, but I've gotten plenty in the last year.

Chupacabra 50 for $725 shipped
Pittbull 50/CL for $650 shipped
Evh 5150 III 50 watt for $420 shipped
Evh 5150 100 watt for $690 shipped.
Peavey VTM all original USA tubes mint for $320 shipped.

Just to name a few.

Yeah I bid on the JP2C earlier but quickly got out bid. I bid on a 50 watt JCM but I would love a VTM especially in the 300's.

Yep - it is a combo of the 10-15% off coupon + eBay bucks and finding a good Buy It Now price. Downside is now that eBay charges tax for me due to WA now collecting sales tax on all transactions. Really has made it now you have to get a really good deal and a coupon to make it worth buying through there. I set up a daily notification for listings containing a few specific names that drops me an email with a summary and that has enabled a couple of decent deals here and there.

There are smoking deals if you really know how to shop, are patient and can pounce when it's time. My #1 amp is a 1987xl I got for $627 shipped. I search for repair/not working/project in the headline. This amp needed tubes only, had it running in five minutes from unpacking it. Will never part with it.
