CAE WAH issue!

hey i just purchased a cae wah pedal off a forum member. I just put it on my board tonight after picking it up over the weekend. Everything seems to work fine the red setting the boost everything but when i switch on the yellow setting im getting a crazy sound. when i tilt it back its very nasely and harsh then i bring it forward its like it turns off. very hard to describe fact is it doesnt work. what do you think it is?

well i just took the back off it and it looks like the goop that dunlop covers the adjustable pots had been removed and thats okay...but the yellow cap for the fasel fell off exposing the inside of the fasel. someone had been inside the wah forsure...not sure about the yellow fasel though. can these be replaced?

oh gee, sorry we aren't just standing around waiting with an answer to your gear issue.

Yes the fasel inductor is replacable.

Have you tried adjusting the internal trim pots first to see if you can get it working normally again?

Sounds like the inductor is fried. Dunlop sells replacements
