CAE Wah, noisy?

Hey guys

I'm trying to get to the bottom of this, but I have a CAE wah and find it incredibly noisy. If I just engage it while I'm on a gain chan (chan 2 Herbert for example), its just super noisy...lots of hum and fuzziness. Is there something wrong with mine in particular, or are they all this noisy?

Mine is very quiet. Is the on board boost all the way up? That might add a lot of noise.

Mine is noisy if the boost is cranked. If its not I don't notice anything abnormal noise wise

Generally Wah pedals boost the gain and noise increases. I have the CAE wah and it's not too bad with the onboard boost switched off. But with it switched on, it can definitely get noisy!
