Cali Clip......

Here's a VERY quick and rough clip I did this morning of the Cali :) It was actually just the test track to see if Pro Tools was working but I was short on time so I just used that.

It was literally the first and only thing I've played today so forgive the clams and lack of direction etc! (in other words it sounds like my other clips!) I also realised afterwards that I hadn't even checked the mic position first! :lol: :LOL:

Anyway, enough excuses :lol: :LOL:

Bright switches to the left
Saturation to the right
Hair switch ON
Blackback G12M cab

what were the rest of your amp settings? sounds great.
now i am curious about this hair switch since my cali does not have it.
 
With the exception of the clipping, that was almost a dead on EVH brown sound.
You play with that EVH attitude.

Sounded pretty sweet! Fortin fever is getting worse by the day.
 
Sounds great! Nice and brown. Sounds like an amp that really allows you to express yourself.

The EQ's were about 12.30 apart from the presence which was 11.30
Gain1 3.30
Gain2 2.00
Master was "just barely on"
Depth was about 9.30

Guitar was a Music Man EVH with an Aldrich in the bridge
 
Thats sounds great Angus! Especially with the Aldrich! :rock: Someone was saying that the Aldrich sounded thin or too high or something about it not being a good lead pickup... :lol: :LOL: anyways...
Fucking right on my man...so juicy. :thumbsup: Its amazing how tight and open it stays considering how much gain was dialed on the amp and the pickup being around 18K.

Can't wait to get mine. :yes:

Hey Brad,
The Hair and Thump switch are recent additions to the growing Cali mod option list. Any new additions or changes, all get forwarded to Dan Gower to keep all the mods as consistent as possible.

Since your mod was part of the batch of mods before I stopped accepting, please contact me if you are interested. We can set up a time next month so it can be turned around within a business day.
