Came across a cool and simple JFET preamp schematic

Haven't tried it, but it looks really cool! I would probably lower that input resistor though... FET's typically have a very high input impedance in and of themselves, and to only load the guitar using a 3M input resistor before the FET seems like it would be pretty bright sounding. A value closer to ~1M would probably sound better. I may have to try this out for myself some day.

I doubt youll like it... that ones been floatin around for long long long time. what are you looking to do I might have a schem you can try lying around here.
