Has anyone owned both cabs with the same type of speakers installed in each? Just curious on what the difference in design and sound with like V30s or other speakers. I owned a Bogner V30 way back in the day and used it with the XTC 101B and was a great set-up. Just wondering if buying one again would be that muchh different than the Cameron 4X12 that I currently have, which I can load with V30s, if needed.

Aren't they made by the same guy?
As well as other cabs?

I thought both they were made here?

Yeah actually they could have different designs for each customer.
Never thought of that
I'm kinda curious myself now.
I have a Bogner 4x12 straight cab, and I swear it has more lowend
Than my Mesa, however I haven't tried a Cameron.

Yeah i was looking to pick up the Bogner 4X12 straight cab, but I might just put the V30s I have laying around in the Cameron 4X12. The Cameron has plenty low end!!!

What's in the Cameron now? Greenies?

Well they were all G12H30 70 Anny's which come stock, but I put two British CL80s in an X-pattern to take the edge off the G12H30's. I am getting a KK++ from Dan Gower soon and he recommends V30s, which I have 4 laying around and I have used in my cabs for the Bogner 101B, Shiva and Engl Savage 120 back in the day. I have the G12H Heritage 55hz and G12H Heritage 75hz combo in my Marshall BHW and those speakers destroy!!!! I am not a huge fan of Greenbacks, but I have not really given them much of a chance though.

I know Dan and Mike both like and recommend V30's with their amps.. Ive got an X pattern of Scumback M75/J75 65watters and they sound Great! I really don't think there is a bad speaker for the Kali to be honest... I know Aldrich uses greenies in his cabs with his modded marshalls (all be it it's not a Kali).. I would like to revisit the V30 with the Killer Kali and see my thoughts... I just never liked the somewhat shrill, brash mids of the V30... My ears always preferred the warmer and creamier greenie. Can't wait til you get your Kali... you're gonna dig

Can't argue with V-30's mid ice pick tones, I need something darker myself.
I have a Marshall TV with greenies but there isn't much of a grunt I'm looking
For. But the mids are nice.

Yeah I agree about the V30s being shrill. I just wanted to mix things up since I already have the UK Heritage G12Hs in my Marshall cab. Scumbacks are also another alternative and I have a pair (J75/H55) in my Bogner OS212, but I have 4 UK V30s sitting around and wanted to try them in the Cameron cab instead of buying a used Bogner 4X12ST.

I am really looking forward to getting the KK++. I want it to be my end all Marshall type amp that covers the entire spectrum. I also got a clean channel and all of the options.

Yes, I also like the grunt so that is why the G12H Heritage speakers (55 or 75hz) work great IMO.

Really? Those? I figured those were more rock sounding.
I had 2 V-30's rebuilt with hemp cones and they do just what
Their suppose to do, however think I wanna try the H-75's now.

Yes they do!! They slay with the Atomica and I am sure they will with the KK++. I have the G12H Heritage 55hzs (stock with the Marshall BHW) on the bottom for low end thump and the G12H 75hz on the top to provide more mids than what a full set of H55s has. The Heritage 55s/V30 combo in an X-Pattern sound massive in my buddy's 4X12 Savage playing through my old Engl Savage 120 that I sold him. Hell, I might just do the same thing to the Cameorn cab since I have a pair of G12H 55hz left.
