Dave will you have any voice in the design of the prototype for the CCV or will you only be making sure the best materials and stuff are used?

I was wondering if maybe some things such as the voicings of your amps be it C45 or whatever will be available on the Cameron amps?

Please tell us!

Regards,
Nico.

Say what? huh? Dave working with Cameron? Where did you hear that?

  Get ready for a sh*t ton of reading boys

I was taking a gander in the cameron forum and just spent an hour catching up on all of the bs...

Makes me want a new Marsha more than ever!

Yes its true. Dave and Rob from Tone Merchants alongside Brad King aka King Guitar will be on a business venture. At first they will start with a prototype of the CCV build by Mark Cameron, and maybe Dave? And finally mass producing the amp...

This is great news for everybody, I just want to know what Dave's involvment is going to be in all of this, are they going to share expertise on the making of the CCV?

Dave, Rob and I are partners in the new Cameron Amp production. Friedman Amps and Cameron Amps are 100% separate entities. While Dave is our chief tech advisor because he is so damn good he has little to do with the Cameron production other than helping with any tech issues that arise and providing warranty service through his shop.

I just read this over on another forum...I guess Dave will be providing the technical oversight while others do the actual production? will it be in US or Mexico? curious

They will be built in Los Angeles area. Mark Cameron will build the production prototype with the production team and then tweak it when done until it sounds just like he wants it too. Then they will go into production and Mark will go work on the CCM circuit for a future release.

I'll definitely jump on that wagon! I'll be one of the first in line! Exciting news to say the least

like brad said, dave will be more of a technical adviser and handle warranty repair.

I would like to see a collaboration with Dave and mark in the future, maybe a four channel midi thing. But thats a LONG ways off. I repeat a LONG way off. :)

Then who is building them?

Obviously you need a class act builder or production company with an impeccable reputation for reliability to counter the dark onerous weight of Cameron's production notoriety.

Any how much down payment is going to be asked?
