I just had the pleasure of playing these two incredible amps. The Atomica is off the charts and sounds better than my HG Jose. The Friedman SS just makes you smile. They are by far my two favorite amps at NAMM. More to come tomorrow!

So....the Atomica -vs- the CCV?
What you think??

No way I could choose. Both are incredible. I will say that most everyone who came into the room today freaked out over the Atomica....including me   Put simply, it's the shit!

So is your order in on one then? :D

I still have the CCV on my "list" to get...now looks like the Atomica will be there as well.
Hell have to try them all before you die right?

That's great to hear! Someone try to get a vid of the atomica or mini CCv for us will ya

What else ya got on the SS? Just a Marsha with certain options, or something new?

Good news, and best NAMM post so far!

Your pic done tipped the beans, what's the 411 on the Cameron Lunchbox?

I'll be playing them tomorrow and a full report will be forthcoming...

I asked Mr. Stevens about the Friedman SS amp back in October when I met him for the first time. Was it like a JCM 800 or more like a 1959?
Steve was very busy at the time and said they were still working on tweaking the amp..
Atomic Playboy

What's the difference between the Old Bitch and the Atomica?

Cool. Run 'em with a Roland Dimension D & post the clips when you can....

It's based on the BE, but much more aggressive. It also has a full clean, loop, etc. Just a great amp with so much tone!

EL84's in the power section. Sounds like a combo/cross of the Lead channel's of the CCV and Atomica. That little amp is very loud.
