Cameron CCV vs Fortin Meathead

Motorpud, I just realized you have a Meathead in transit, congrats!!!!
I have a revolcanized Twin Jet that Fortin did and let me tell ya, he knows
what the heavy players want and need. For me he's the first dude ta' hit the
hammer right on the nail right to the stud in one strike

Thanks, I can't wait to get it here and see what it can do. Should be able to pull off nearly anything with 6 channels. I saw your thread about the "Jumbo Jet", I bet that thing is a beast. Did you ever wind up putting up any clips? I'd like to hear it. Seems like they sound pretty good to begin with, I can only imagine what he did to it

FWIW Kurt said in a thread a week or so ago he liked the Meathead over any of the 7 Camerons that he's owned

And yet he sold the Meathead....

He seemed like he freaked a little about it too Sometimes it comes down to $$$$

I know that they both sound different and both sound great... but, I wish someone could chime in on which one is better suited for them and why... I cant expect to get what I want out of this thread, but if you could pair these flagship amps of both of their makers against each other and tell the player to choose only one if they could, which one would they choose... is all that Im trying to get at... which one would the user choose and why. I know, I know... apples to oranges, but let this thread ride it out and hopefully someone besides me can get some more insight that cant otherwise get to hear either one of these amps. BTW I hate online recordings of amps... I dont think they accurately portray the amps true sound, so links to clips of either one of the amps are worthless IMO.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but how does an amp that will suite me apply to anyone else?
Id be happy with either amplifier and Id be able to make either of them work for me and I could even give you examples as to why it would work for me but what's that have to do with anyone else? I'm not ragging on you but I'm trying to see the logic in this?

If you want to know specifics about each amp then Id ask. Then you could make an intelligent decision based on what you've heard but to ask someone why they like something seems a but silly...or am I wrong?

if I had to pick one end all be all amp it would be a Fortin orignal that was dialed in for me and that's already in the works

How much longer for the Meathead???I'm still end of July on the Bonez and all this talk of Fortin amps this and that has me JONZIN BAAAAADDDDD I really almost changed my order for a meathead
