my second clip ever recording, got new headphone monitors so I wanted to give it a try! (AKG K271 MKII)

figured I'd try something little more complex

Used the low gain input and the master volume pulled to give it a more open sound

Each of the guitar parts are double tracked

Used the Recabinet 2.0 Greenback 4x12 impulse through Reaper, loaded via SIR VST. Post EQed by the built in RealEQ on Reaper. Drums were the EZ Drummer Pop/Rock set, I just imported the midi drums from Guitar Pro.

Played with my Wayne Charvel Rock Legend, lowered the pickups for this recording to get the more vintage flavor

I know I know, some of the guitar parts are off/not in sync

What say you?

haven't gotten there yet :LOL: :LOL:

I didn't mean to make a full cover, just test out some recording techniques and tones, definitely a learning experience

I guess it was somewhat low volume, I used my attenuator, the master volume was probably about 10:00. I guess I shoulda increased the input on my interface

I didn't record with a mic, just direct

Still learning though! Next one will be better
