Good morning...
Can I use the Comp. Out with my headphones? Or do I need some kind of amplification? Can I use it to feed the signal directly into my Guitar Rig Input? I tried it yesterday, but could'nt get any signal. Oh, and btw, my footswitch has quitted his service. How could this happen...?

:aww: Please be gentle with your ears.
Use the comp out to feed your sound card and then to any software you like. If your card has headphone out with volume control then you can use it. Remember that when you are using comp out, you will have to feed a cab also, and turn the master volume at any level you like, from down to zero, to full speed.

Okay, that is in fact what I did. I put the signal from the Eini's out into my Guitar Rig Input Device, what in my opinion is an Interface. Your can control both, the input and output- Level.
But I got no signal out, nor inside my headphone, which was connected with the GR-Out. So I tried the Einis Out with my headphone. But nothing ... not a bit...

So this is what I would do:
First plug your guitar directly to the interface (without the amp) and be sure that you got signal (input and output) to the guitar rig software.
Then plug into the amp, start it up and play at a normal volume level.
Then plug a normal cable from comp out to interface in (be sure that you have a clean patch in guitar rig).Adjust the volume of the amp and the PC speakers so you should be able to hear them both.
If now you don't have input and output from Guitar rig there is something wrong with comp out and you should go to a Tech.
Good luck

So I did... I tried my GR The way I Iuse to normally. So I checked that my System's running. After-hours that, I connected my Comp. Out with my GR instead of my guitar an put the guitar inside my Amp. I had a reverb activated in GR only. No amp, just Reverb and Cabsim.

So today ich checked the Comp.Out from my Einstein with a Pa - all is working well..

but something is strange... I still can´t get any signal into my PC, and I have to turn the Master up to min., otherwise there is no signal out of the Output.

Of course I have connected a Speaker, but I thought I can record silent! Just a Load or Box with the Amp, a Cable from the Comp. Out into my PC (here it is the I/O-Box of my Guitar Rig), adjust the Channel Volumen and turn the Master down.

But this is not working...

I think that's just how it works. My Einstein works the same as yours. You need master volume turned up.

Oh...so it may be a misunderstanding thing...but can anyone tell me how I can record with this:

oh.. in English, please---

http://www.native-instruments.com/filea ... ne2008.pdf

This stuff won´t work... but because I spend all my time with three things: My Girl, Work, Amplifiers I haven´t got the time to mess around with IT-Issues... this isn´t mine and won´t ever be!

Normally I put in my Guitar into the Input and my Headphone out of the Interface- so far so good.. Now I feed the signal of my einstein instead...but there were silence!

No silent recording with the Compensated Out (unless you have a dummy load), that's how it works with newer Diezels afaik.
Still you can just connect the FX-Send to your interface and run it through some impulses if you want to record using the Einsteins preamp. Just get Guitar Hacks impulses load Voxengo Boogex in your DAW and your good to go. I don't know that NativeInstruments thing but I hope you can just use it like a normal interface without that GuitarRig....
