I know what you mean, Rian.. Trouble is, you don't get wine in normal shops here. You have to buy wine and hot spirits from the state monopoly shops. And we didn't bother to take the trip today. I'm more fond of red myself too.

We're Schengen, but have none of the advantages of EU..

VAT on amps from Europe, only generic beer in the Grocery stores.... etc etc.

Heineken is one of "the least of evils" beers you can find here. Not to mention you have more breweries in Belgium than we have citizens in Norway

Damn, that really sucks. I seriously prefer water over Heineken, not just because of the taste but the VERY few times I drank Heineken (to much, obviously) I had the worst hangover ever.

Bought an extra 12 pack at the end of last month...Capital Brewery Oktoberfest. Local brew, they have some tasty beers. Just cracked one
