Hey guys

I need some help wiring my cab in parallel. Im using quick connect wires, but i might solder them eventually.

The back of the cab has two wires and i have two separate black and white wires with a connector on both sides. I sort of have an idea of what to do. Do i connect the two negatives and positives with the two seperate wires and connect the wires from the jack to the outer tab of the speaker?

How many speakers, how many ohms....

You need to explain what you are trying to achieve a little better. Are you tring to wire up the speakers to a single jack? Does the cab have one of those Stereo/Mono plates with a switch and 2 jacks? A picture would help.

Its two speakers, 16ohms, in parallel to get 8 ohms.

I took some pics but it wont let me post them

I basically have 4 wires, two of which are coming from the single jack. The other two are double sides with a clip on each end.

Here you go, its the top one, the impedance is different, but its the same wiring, hots to hots- negatives to negatives, 2 -16ohm spkrs go down to 8 ohms.

This is series wiring BTW, parallel would give you 32 ohms

Nah you were right with the pic, 2- 16 ohms in parallel will give you 8.
