Can the Axe-FX flanger cop these sounds?

I only found one video on YouTube where some dork is too busy making jokes than showing tones for the flanger on the Axe. Can it come close to the sweet tones I'm hearing from this pedal? Listen to the last 2 clips on that page, the Barricuda sound is perfect.

wow!

took me awhile to figure out that was digital. the clips are sure convincing, and for my ears the through zero is better than a foxrox.

i did however make a $700 profit on my foxrox after Dave quit making them!

I know Eventide can nail those sounds

I haven't heard anything from the Modfactor that would make me think soo.

I was referring to Eclipse or other rack versions.

The Strymon stuff is pretty unique. It definitely has a different vibe than other digital gear and sounds more analog, if you like that sort of thing. I think the Axe-Fx and Eventide stuff can get close but it's not going to be exactly the same. The Axe-Fx can do the through-zero thing, not sure about Eventide.

BTW, Strymon is the old Damage Control guys, one of whom was my college roommate.
