Don't see a lot of talk about them here. Kind of a blend between Jackson/ESP, their head luthier used to run the Japanese Jackson division and then jumped ship to start capa.

Anyways, do you guys dig em? Lets see yours!

I'm also interested in this. There is the lower priced ones just over a thou....then the custom shop of TT stuff that is priced in Jackson esp territory. The have that one axe that is 27 fret as well.
Interesting.

there been a buzz on angelus 7 string as Fred Brum was being endorsed... pretty much like the angelus model the 7 strings and the c2 model with beautiful quilted top...

a friend of mine gotta hgs horus which is bolted maple neck rosewood fretboard and a nice walnut body... it sounded very good with lots of bites and warm on the tone ...

should be nice thou as am planning for an Angelus have a love on these potbelly type style guitar..

I'd love to have one of their neck through models, but they are hard to find on the used market for a decent price.

Had a TAT years ago - you nailed it - like a cross between the ESP M-1 and Jackson Soloist in feel. Great attention to detail, fit, finish.

I've also worked with Evergrey quite a few times - the Caprisons hold up well to road wear and taking a beating. ;)

I'm a huge fan, got into them about 4-5 years ago. Love the feel of the necks, and the shorter scale Horus works perfectly for me. Here's a family shot:

LOVED the paint job of the one in the middle, got any bigger pictures of that particular one?

Cool guitars! I love that purple one. I have to say, though, I'm not a huge fan of their 'faux' (my term) finish. It reminds me of acid washed jeans or something if that nature. I've always wondered (coming from an Ibanez background) if I'd like the neck profile. Great looking guitars.

I've owned 3 Caparisons....TaT II , Angelus, and a 7 string dellinger. I love the way Cap guitars look and the TaT was the best overall fit and finish out of the 3. With that being said they all had some buzz going on at different points on the fretboard and none of them sounded great, just ok. I don't mean to bash them but for the price they cost new there are better options for me. It's a shame cause I think they look bad ass and I'm sure there are some great playing and sounding ones out there..

great guitars, the ones I played were quality wise the same level as ESP, and like others say felt like a m-II soloist hybrid.....aesthetically, I love the elf-shoe headstock and shapes, but the inlays are horrendous

Nice guitars.
I've had three HORI.
The oldest one of the three had the best neck and the best tone. The newer ones were a bit dead and the necks weren't as sweet.
All very nice build quality though!

Yeah, that's the Black Forest finish, my favorite. They didn't make many of them and it actually took me a couple of years to find one. Here's a bigger pic:

Love love love my TAT. The description of a cross between Jackson and ESP is spot on...but with a non-recessed trem. Love the neck and the clocks.

They look cool. I heard a clip of someones Caparison with a L-500XL in the bridge, thru a dual recto, it sounded badass!
