Captor X Question

Hello,

I have an 8 ohm Captor X that I use with my 65DRRI , and it works great.
I also have a Carvin VLD1 Preamp that I use direct to mixer/interface. Would I be able to connect the VLD1 to the Captor X to use the IRs that I have loaded without using a power amp?

Im just trying not to buy more gear, or to at least be more selective about the gear I buy.

Thanks for getting in touch - Ross from Two notes here. Captor X requires a power amp to function and connecting a line level source (like your Carvin preamp) to this could result in damage to the unit. However, as a Captor X user, you are entitled to a complementary copy of our GENOME software, in which you can load any DynIR tied to your Two notes account.
