Cars you can fit your gig rig in

Just wondering what you're all driving. Currently driving a wrangler and usually bring bogner 4X12 (little larger than reg 4X12), head, two guitars, 4 space rack case and ideally would like to be able to have a passenger. Meaning non truck/suv/wagon/minivan as any of those can do it easily enough.

I like cars where you can lay down the back seats, like a Volkswagen Golf or BMW1. Fits my Bogner 4x12, head, rack, guitars and all and the passenger seat is free AND I can find a parking spot in the city center where I live

You must be kidding. The Golf is probable the second most reliable car ever, after the Mercedes!

I had my Jeep Cherokee for 10 years and was perfect for gigging. When I had my Saturn Aura I just used my wife's Jeep Liberty.

When I totaled my Saturn a few months ago I too bought a Golf. One reason I decided to get it was because it was very inexpensive (my wife may get laid off)...another because I measured it and will easily fit my rig.

...and also because it rates so high when it comes to reliablity.

I'm driving a 2006 Buick Rendzvous. Ugly as sin, but with the rear seats down and the middle row out, I can put a 19 cu.ft. fridge in there and close the hatch. It will hold every guitar and amp I own right now with no problem.

I was thinking about that as well and was looking at an Audi A6. my parking space is like an elevator that has cars stacked three high so I cant get like an SUV it wont fit.
anyone own one?

Suzuki esteem from 2000. I can fit my roadster stack in it and a thiele, and my rack and 2 guitars.

Yours are made in Germany, the ones sold in the US are made in Mexico.

I love my Outlander. I can fit my whole guitar rig plus backup rig in without problems and with the sliding and colapsable seats I can lock it all in place. My oversized Genz Benz 4x12 stands up on its casters in this too! Here is a pick of an outlander. Check out the drop down gate like a pickup truck. there is no bending over at all during load in/out. Much better than my Chevy S10 with a topper.

Yours are made in Germany, the ones sold in the US are made in Mexico.

Oh my, really? Would be great if it would be like this with Fenders, if the European ones were made in Germany

I used to drive a hatchback '07 Nissan Versa. I could fit a 412, guitar, amp, necessities and still carry a passenger. I managed to cram two Mesa Recto 412s in there once, and I'm still amazed at that.

I'm driving a '99 Nissan Xterra now, 'donated' (they don't use it and want it off the property/insurance since it has 277k miles and impossible to sell) to me by my parents after wrecking the Versa this summer. I've managed to get the amp/rack road case and a 212 in there, but that case takes too much room to fit much else.

I drive a RAM too. cept mines my work truck with ladder rack tool boxes and decals for my business. But I have some 33" BFG MTs on it But it doesnt look as cool as yours

Being able to stand up the 4X12 is a plus for sure and it looks like it can take the wear pretty well.

The Golf rocks, really nice car I have one, I upgraded for a A3 2.0T 6 speed manual which I'm waiting for...

Dodge Magnum....perfect for a half stack rig. A 4x12 fits perfect in the rear without folding the seats down. I miss my RAM though....trucks are hard to beat.....unless its raining!
