I've owned a couple Carvin Bolt guitars and I really liked them. Never played one of the CT6 models though. They look great but just wanted to get some opinions. And what do you think the resale value would be on one just like this? I know a new one would be about $1500, but I'm guessing maybe around $1000 used?

I'd say that's about right. $1000 to $1200 used if it's got alot of options on it.
Great guitars too!

I just picked up a dc127 and i dig it. It's a really cool guitar, built to my specs. I changed the electronics and now its ready for war....

Never played that model but if its anything like my dc127 in quality then im positive you'll be very happy and suprised.

I had a gorgeous purple quilt CT6. Awesome guitar! Highly recommended. Very comparable to my PRS CU24 for half the cash. Super smooth neck and I really dig the 25'' scale. I only sold it cause I was bleeding for cash  . Do it man, do it!

I have seen some for as low as $800 with no takers.
Try and find one used if you can.
Carvin is right up there with new GMWs in the awesome guitars with no resale value category.

I have an outstanding gold-top CT4 that I will never sell.

Yeah, I'd obviously rather buy a used one, but unless it's identical to the one I posted...I'm kind of leaning towards buying a new one.
