Why do some people post the same thing over and over again? Have seen a few members who have posted the same joke or toddler level troll over and over as if it they believed it to be humorous the first time around. Sure there are inside jokes, and then there is just a level of intelligence that goes no further than a dog chasing it's tail.

Does anyone have insight to the psychology behind this? I don't mean something mentioned once or twice a month or year, but the same thing dozens of times a day, week, or month. Are some of y'all stuck on Groundhog's Day? Is it just a case that they're too idiotic to come up with fresh material?

Why do you care Lisa? You've posted two threads about trolls recently (this and the survey one) which is actually a meta-troll - trolling about trolling! We all have our hobby horses so to speak. I'm only replying to this because I noticed no one else had and I'm bored at home due to the weather being crap. I'd love to get outside - cabin fever.

Curious where it stems from.
Perhaps they're just NPCs stuck with a few lines and unable to put together a thought outside of their programming.
