I just bought it brand new and for those of you who don't know, it doesn't run on batteries. Below are the instructions.
"To power the Belle Epoch use a 9-18V DC Negative Ground power supply that can deliver a minimum of 70mA."
I used both of these adapters.

I would have attached the picture, but RT says the attachment limit has been met. Whatever that means.
The pedal won't turn on with the one on the left. The one on the right causes it to turn on, but it gives a loud hum.
What am I missing here? Both have an output of 9 VDC and are above the minimum of 70mA. Is it defective? Did I fry it? Is everything going to be okay?
