anyone have any exprience with these? randall use similar ones in the MTS cabs, plus they're meant to be lighter and louder than most speakers because of the neodymium magnet thingy, so i just need some opinions if thats ok?

ta!

From what i read they don't sound like any other Celestions which is to say not bad but not like other stuff.

i had a thread about neodymium a week or so ago, might search for it?

i read up on these quite a bit, the Century gets better reviews than the vintage one, but it also cost a lot more.

some people compare the Century to the CL80 and the vintage to the V30?

Eminence also has some, and would be quite a bit cheaper if you're just interested in the speakers? they've got a Lil Texas and Lil Tonker.

Pretty much what I have read too, Jensen also has a Neo speaker as well. I had a Celestion Century Vintage that came stock in my Vox AC30CC1. It sounded like a V30, but a little harsher (speaker wasn't really broken in though). For the vox AC30CC1 the Century vintage was a bad choice, but it may work find in your application. They do seem to lack a little bass compared to ceramic magnet speakers, so they would probably be best in a closed back cab.

Weber also offers Neo speakers too.
