Well,

I finally started using Lynchbacks as my go-to speaker and I must say they rule in a ggood 212 cab. I have tried a bunch of speakers in my Stone Age and came full circle back to the Lynchbacks. I think they are the, most versatile and best sounding Celestions I have ever played.

Any other Lynchback love? It is like they combine the things I like best about a lot of different speakers and roll it all into one great speaker!

They work so well clean to mean and with every amp I play through them.

I really want to try these, but no 16ohm = no go for me. Plus my cab already sounds so damned good that I don't feel overly motivated to switch it up.

I have the 8 oh lynchbacks, even in my 4121936th and they are fantastic. Don't ever let the fact that they are 8 PhD hols you back. I never hear or feel a difference with 4, 8 or 16 ohms anyway.

+1

I can't hear the difference either. Never played the Lynchbacks but was thinking of getting some in my next cab.

Wait - did you have a big 'Good-Bye Never Coming Back' thread a while back?

What do you Lynchback guys think of them in a 212 cabinet?
