Celestion speaker has low output or volume is there a fix?

Pulled a speaker out of my Marshall 4x12 Classic because it barely had any output at all. It was a 16ohm, 25watt greenback celestion from the early 90's. No other issues like distortion or weird noises just low output that's it.

Anyone know what would cause this and what would be the way to fix this?

I had an early 70's Greenback that was like that and Jim at Scumback thought it was most likely a shifted magnet (I think that's the term he used, something like that). It still sort of had a Greenback sound but was way, way lower volume and very weak. There was no fix for it.

Yeah, it's toast...my old 74 all original GB cab had one that went just like that. Needs a recone, or try to find another. Sucks. Voice coil is shot.

R.I.P Greenback. He hosted many good riffs in his day.
