I’ll never understand why they covered this song ?

I still have that cassette and bought it when it came out...I was very familiar with the original song and video by Wall of Voodoo as it was on MTV all the time in the early days - never did get why they covered that one, either.

Speaking of Celtic Frost, the earlier stuff was all right but after this album, there was Cold Lake and Cherry Orchards which I just did not like at all- really dug Tom's previous band, Hellhammer, though:

All these years I thought it was Uh but it’s really Ugh. Now I’ll never get my masters in English literature.

Agree, and love Hellhammer! …Wish I kept my cassettes ☹️

The Wall of Voodoo original is great, great video too.

It is with a heavy heart that this beautiful collector's item comes up for sale:

A Marshall JCM 800 Mod. 2203 from 1984

The beautiful thing has been overhauled and sounds incredible. As a special feature, this Marshall has a subsequently installed clean channel (Post Celtic Frost).

This amp originally belonged to the Celtic Frost collection in the 80s.

Important: The amp did not belong to Tom Warrior as originally assumed but to Martin Ain (thanks for the tip)!

Only sold to serious bidders who appreciate the origin.

Auditions and collection in Volketswil

Uh, the early stuff was better than alright. Morbid Tales and To Mega Therion are masterpieces. ?
