It is complete, and will be in my possession on Thursday. John @ StoneAge Cabinets did a great job on the headshell, and had to modify it a bit to fit the 100W transformers. But..here it is...and what it looks like.

Trace @ Voodoo Amps ended up modifying the wiring a bit to make it more correct to what a Silver Jubilee really was, and added a couple additional controls to it. The changes he did were:

Presence: Pushed in is stock, which has a bigger, looser bottom end and a bit warmer top end. Pulled out, tightens the bottom end up, and makes it a bit brighter. GIves you best of both worlds!!!

Bottom: Mainly to be used when the presence is pulled out (brighter mode). Adds a different tighter low end to the amp.

Trace installed the Mercury Magnetics power / output transformers and choke, and replaced the filter caps with higher end, better sounding filter caps.

I'll be using SED =C= EL34s...and chinese 12ax7a's in there.

I'm super stoked!!!!

   Holy shit dude!! Bet that thing is going to kill man.......gotta give us a report IMMEDIATELY after you get it. I'll give you 15 minutes of play time, then we gotta know!!

Seminar meets mod,it's growing on me man,but if it sounds like shit then i change my mind   Looks dope man!!!!!   Can't wait to hear it brother!!!!!!!!!

WOW  !! Looks awesome !Did you ask for the bias points or was it already there?

Dude, that's gonna be a scorcher for sure  I'm psyched for you!

We do expect clips of course.

Bias points were stock. So I didn't have to do anything or add it.

I'll use it with the tm412 and tm212 until I get my stoneage cabs.

That looks awesome. I'm getting ready to build one of the Ceriatone kits. I'm going to use MM transformers with better caps and cans. Post some clips when you get a chance. When I'm done I might send it to trace to have him put his touch on it. The bias points are a nice touch. Having them on my Mod 50 has spoiled me.

Well here you guys go!!!! Here are 2 youtube video clips of the amp! It was DEFINITELY worth the long wait for the amp. I absolutely LOVE it!

This is Ceriatone Jubilee Series 2555 chassis (bought with no output / power transformers and choke). I had Trace @ Voodoo Amps put in Mercury Magnetics output / power transformers and choke, and he put in F&T filter caps, and made a few changes to the circuit. He added a push / pull pot to the presence circuit so pulled out, it is a stock Jubilee presence knob. Pushed in, it dumps a bit of the low end, and makes it tighter and a bit brighter on the top end. He also added a bottom circuit to it, with a push / pull pot, which varies the amount of low end the bottom circuit adds. Both additions really add to the versatility of the amp. It's an AMAZING sounding amp. Definitely glad I had it built!!!

Guitar - Suhr Classic T (SSH+ / SSV, Mahogany Body, Quilt Maple top, Mahogany Neck, Pau Ferro Fingerboard)
Cabinet - Custom Mojo 1x12 w/ Scumback M75 100W
Effects - TC Electronic Nova System & Xotic BB Preamp

Very good sounding amp. How does the TC unit work with it...well? Does it have a loop and two channels?

I think my SL2 is the closest I can get to that, but I might try the X mod. I used to have a Jubilee but the sucker was loud! Just too loud for club work for my needs. That is why I find the Mod 50 so cool.

Why the hotplate.....is it that out of control at low volumes?

Having owned a Mod50....a SL2...a SL2X...there's really nothing that comes close to this in terms of feel, balls, and punch. But...tonally the SL2X is close. It was what I was going for w/ Jeff Hilligan in terms of tone...but just never quite got there.

This jubilee is loud too. But thankfully since it has Mercury Magnetics power / output transformers and choke...it really has great tone at lower volumes vs the Drakes' that marshall used back them.

Hotplate I use for recording at lower volumes w/ my isolation cab mainly. Allows me to juice the power tubes more...but keep the overall volume down.

Maybe it is me but I don't really have a lack of punch or balls from the Egnater, really. I know we are all different.
Honestly I have never had anyone at a jam or bar tell me my amp lacked balls! LOL> I think it is something we feel, sense ourselves. ;)

That's the thing those suckers are loud. :D I don't really do 100 watters these days.

At the time I had tried Mercury Magnetics transformers, I was not thrilled or that impressed but I might have to try again in one of my Marshalls.

Well..I had a Mod50 sitting right next to my 2555 when I did these videos...and the day prior I did back to back comparisons between the two...and the 2555 just totally won out for me.

For me 100W'ers are better as I like the higher headroom. That's where I get a lot of the tonal change for me at least.

Every amp Trace @ Voodoo Amps put Mercury Magnetics transformers in...I've just plain loved. Maybe he's doing a lot of other things in the amp too....like changing filter caps....but the transofmers he gets from them just plain rock. Trace has done a LOT of work for me in the past 5-7 years, and I can't say I got a bad amp from him. This amp surpasses them all for me though. I just plain love it. It's exactly what I was looking for honestly.

After having both the Mod 50 and 100 side by side with the same everything in them,I totally think 100 was king, more ballz, tighter feel, tone wise they were about the same but different ya know
