I love both but can't decide which to buy. The Ceriatone has the versatility and the Uberschall is brutal. I play modern metal dropped C tuning...quick palm mutes and needing a lot of attack and tight low end.

Need advice...thanks

One style and it's down tuned metal? Why need versatility? Uber.

If you want "tight" low end, Uberschall doesn't really have that. But with drop C you can get away with a not so tight low end and the brutalness is a plus.

They make a thing called an OD pedal that will make the low end as tight as you wish. And Ubers take just fine to an OD boost....

I think you're being sarcastic.....thick tones and brutal.....too fuzzy and too much bass for me but for what you're playing sounds good......thanks for posting....interesting on vid 2 the range of tones you get out of the amp :)

I would be backing off on the gain and boosting that amp to achieve the hyper fast quick palm mutes like the OP wants. I like the thickness of the mids though for sure. I always like the mojo that Ubers have.

Clip 2 sounds killer. You don't think the King Kong can get those sounds? Have you played one?

I don't know...But I wouldn't get a kit amp over a Bogner...

Why not?

For metal?

Uberschall is ONE of the best metal amps ever made IMO.

I wouldn't think twice about getting the Bogner. The only thing I would consider is which Revision.

Try to find a Green if you can.

The Rev. 2 is pretty much my dream amp but i would also consider the KSR Orthos or Ares for metal. (perhaps more versatile than the Bogner but still brutal)

Get an Uber and then get an Uber stompbox to tighten things. U'll be pretty Uber !!

Just boost the Uberschall with a Maxon OD 808 or similar and back off the gain. It'll get as tight as you need it to be.

This ^^^. That's exactly what I did when I had my hands on one. Tight and brutal. I wouldn't rule out a Framus Cobra either. KILLER metal amp. They can even be had for around a grand. Very cab sensitive. Best paired with a Cobra cabinet. Clean boost it with an OD through a Cobra cabinet and stand ths fuck back.

Definitely go for the Uber. As has been mentioned already, it's not the tightest amp by itself but it takes to OD pedals extremely well. With an OD in front it is as tight as you would ever need it to be.

Contrary to popular belief the Uber's clean channel is actually pretty great IMO. The only amps I've owned that had a better clean channel were a Mesa Mark V and a Diezel Lil Fokker.
