Don't have one but sounds awesome in every clip I hear of it. I am guessing this is supposed to be a poor man's cameron.

One of my friends have one its a two chan chupa pretty much with a bit more thump to it . It's a awesome amp . Poor man Cameron lol. That's exactly what it is. Niks a good guy and his amps are quality for sure . I have built a few of his kits

The clips I've heard of the KK sound wicked. Is it the same as a Yeti, but dual channel?

I should have said, poor man's cameron, BUT built muuuuuch cleaner!

I had one of the first ones. It's a cool amp. The clean channel is sort of like a bass spec Plexi. Less grind though and perhaps a bit rounder sounding. The lead channel is very CCVish. Modern voicing with that modded Marshall flavor, but smoother. For the price, it's hard to beat the features.

I love mine, and I have a Brad era CCV...and an Atomica.

And I wouldn't call it a "poor man's CCV" either...budget CCV ? Sure...but I think the KK is built better than the Brad era CCVs...

Thanks for the info, gents. Definitely sounds worth checking out. I'm gonna keep an eye out for a used one. That shipping fee on a new one is a muthafucka.

I talk to nik a few times a week he helps me with my builds I drive him crazy

Super nice guy and yes his amps are great for the price and quality also. Built a few of his kits

I got mine for 1100 and change, in a head shell without tubes brand new, without shipping (I have a commercial UPS account, so I used that, but I was told shipping was 85 bucks). Mine is a 50 watt though...I knew I'd experiment with NOS tubes so I didn't need the amp shipped with new ones.

Awesome! Pauly, how'd you get it that cheap? The site says $1329 with a headshell and no tubes? Is there a sale or something? Also, how long of a wait is there? Is the KK just a dual channel Yeti? Are the gain channels the same? Thanks

I ordered from Scott at Ceriatone USA and there's a 10% discount going through him. I paid 1192.50 without shipping or tubes.

The wait was quoted at about 6 weeks, but took about 5...

Not sure, I THINK it's a dual channel Yeti...

No, the channels are NOT the same. The "clean" channel will still get dirty, but not as dirty as the "dirty" channel.

Also, the lead channel is not the Yeti. More modern than the Yeti like a CCV.
