What are you guys doing with the non buffered loops.
I just want to run a nice delay or reverb. I use an eventide time factor with my other amp, but the buffers aren't powerful enough or I'm not using it right? Anyone have a nice rack suggestion?
Need some help please from those who have gone though this.
Or would putting a metro loop just make more sense?

Thanks!!!

Solid state.

I had the C lator which is the tube version. Made a huge difference.

I just got the Klein and haven't even used it yet with my Yeti. But I expect it will sound essentially the same. It was designed to.

Yeh... their loops are just passive, insert loops.. You need a great buffer or something similar. My 1st choice would be the Fryette Power Station - great attenuator AND killer fx loop as well. And as mentioned above, a C-lator or Klein would also address the loop issue.

Why does one need a separate buffer if they're using a non-true-bypass pedal that already has an internal buffer? All I use in the loops of my Chupa and Yeti is a TC Flashback delay. Works fine. Seems like that's pretty similar to the OP...

All I know is that when I put anything in the loop of my Yeti it changes the tone dramatically. Much darker. Looses the brightness and sparkle.

A Klein ulator or C lator have bright switches to help recover those frequencies.

I'm wondering if I should just swap in an adjustable Metro SS loop.

Put a metro loop in it. Simple to do and only costs $100.

Yup, this is what happens with any pedal I put it in, including trying a flashback mini. The metro loop has me very curious.

This is what I'm leaning on now

Just install the Metro loop. Less hassle and you don't need a piece of outboard gear just to make the loop work better.
