I've been going down rabbit holes with different dirt pedals and this amp. Not my usual chugga chugga stuff and I'm finding myself drawn to these types of tones much more these days so I'd imagine writing some music utilizing them will occur sooner than later.
Plexi50-Suhr RL-AxeFX for Cabs/delays/reverb
I forgot I had that Notadumble and put it together today, I'm glad I did because it sounds pretty fucking great. I've been digging keeping the Plexi50 mostly clean and slamming the front end as I step up in gain. I know in this clip I go from the Notadumble then turn on the Tchula then Vintage Modern, I'm not sure if I turned the SD-1 on or not, but I would have shut the V/M off if I did. I was using the Clean boost portion of the Notadumble, the distorted version in this application gives a lot more cut and is what I'd be using for a lead tone, for sure.
