Chair for playing seated

I've always just plopped it down wherever I could to practice. Chair, bed, couch. Now I'm in the process of having our basement finished and building a music room where I can practice and work on my gear. Time to think a bit more about a comfortable chair that works well for playing guitar. Could be as simple as an office chair with no arms to one I found online specifically made for guitar players (soundseat).
Curious what other people have found works well.

I bought an office chair from Staples and it's very comfy. The arms can be lowered out of the way for playing and I raise them back up when I'm fiddling at my console.

Office chair without arms and a little foot rest for my right foot. I used to use a piano bench a while ago, but I think my chair and foot rest is easier on my back.

I always use a kitchen stool. Makes stepping on pedals easier than chair

Armless office chair with wheels.

Just gotta be careful you don't roll over your leads...

Drum throne with a back rest. Really comfy and easy to adjust height.

Roc-N-Soc Nitro Thone $214 on Amazon.

God I would love one of those. I am also a drummer in need of a better throne.

Me too. Lol

I use a nice comfy office chair from Office Depot, $99 on clearance. It has arms that don’t adjust, but I can sit up on the front part with a foot rest and it’s comfortable. But I think I’m going to check out the drum throne with a back rear too, looks like it would be better on the back for long periods.
