If it's not made in 'murica you probably won't get much feedback around here.
Check SSO, theres tons of Chapman info there.

They're definitely not discontinued as I found quite a few places that sell them online & they were just at NAMM.

I also just bought an ML-1 that will arrive in 3 days.

Their website is just being redone, Chapman is absolutely not being discontinued. A guy I jam with owns one and I have to say, it's a really sweet guitar. It sounds amazing and plays great.

pretty much all the older models are discontinued, they've released almost 30 new guitars at NAMM with killer new features( stainless steel frets, awesome tops, glow in the dark side dots etc), they're gonna update the website really soon!

Does the ML-1 BEA have SS frets & glow in the dark side markers?

I couldn't find that info anywhere.

that particular model is discontinued, Rabea's got two new signatures models but they're both tele shape (ML3)

Good thing I just ordered an ML-1 BEA yesterday.

BTW, your ML-1 BEA videos are solely responsible for me ordering a Chapman, so they better give you a raise. ;)

I played a used ML1 once. Thick neck. sorry, that's all I remember

I've got some Chapmans - currently a Ghost fret, CAP10 and a ML2 - there all pretty solid - great value for the cash - mostly unless they have Seymour Duncan pickups (the CAP10 does) you will want to budget for new pickups. the hardware is good though, especially on the Ghost Fret where its all hipshot stuff!

The just released two different lines at NAMM too - and there are two new Bea signatures, a standard range and a baritone guitar!

The brand isn't discontinued, they just revised the entire line so the old models have been replaced.

I own a lefty ML-1. Great guitar for the $$$. They are perfect as a modding platform (which was the design originally). I bought mine with the intent of doing that but have left it stock. I use it as my Drop Tuned guitar these days. I may swap the pick ups out later on but for now its fine. My only complaint is that it weighs a tonne!! It's a damn heavy guitar. Otherwise it's solidly built and it comes from World in Korea so it's decent quality.
