Charvel Reissue 2000-04 and current reissue guys w/ Floyds

I just bought a 2004 Charvel pointy w/ a Floyd and non recessed body and it's getting shipped here. How low can you guys get the action without having a recessed body?
I am used to around 2/32" or 1/16th's/ish - is it possible to get that low with the Floyd?

1/16'' isn't terribly low, so I don't think you'd have that much of a problem getting it with the Charvel. The recess of the floyd doesn't matter, btw. You can shim the neck to even out the angle that you're looking for.

good deal, I hope there is no shim involved though. I wasn't sure about the floyd & no recess, the EBMM Axis I had had no problem getting good action, but a GMW I had, with the same non recess, did

Every guitar is different, some get low action out of the box and some need some tweaks to get there. ONe bad fret or a not so great neck pocket will screw you up.

Any guitar with enough work can get low action.
