They're good. Those are the first Japanese made Charvels. If it's in good condition, that's a good deal. It's not a great deal for the bolt-on model series, but it is a good deal. It has a replacement Seymour Duncan in the bridge. That wouldn't be original. It's an upgrade over the original Charvel labeled pickups. It looks like a good Floyd. I can't read the details and am not good enough on those to recognize what it is.

Anyhow, they were on par, if not exceeding, Fender USA quality at the time.

Yup that's a steal for 150...3-400 is what they usually go for; and lately even more. It's no USA model but damn nice guitars. 150 bucks. Cost of a pedal.

The Charvel is listed for $350 inside the ad, not the $150 at the top of it. They want $150 for the rack and $200 for the SansAmp.

My advice was with regard to the $350 number. If it was $150, it'd be a no brainer.

I like that guitar, the price is fair considering that the guitar has been upgraded with some nice hardware, but I don't like the unoriginal coil tap switches installed between the volume & tone knobs. If I bought it, I would have to remove the coil tap switches and return the wiring back to a 3 way switch again or install a 5 way Super Switch, or return wiring to a 3 way switch & install a volume push/pull pot to tap the humbuckers for single coil tone.

were these any good?
Those are amazing guitars and the price of all the 80's axes have been on the rise recently so i'd say it could be an investment.
