      I'm almost done modding it. So far, I've changed out the pickguard, pickups, switch, pots, pot placement. Right now it's got a Suhr Aldrich in the bridge, a Dimazio HS-3 in the middle (Only single coil I had laying around) and a Wolfetone in the neck. I think I'm going to get an Aldrich neck, and then try to find a single that works well with them. It's pretty much how it'll end up looking though..

I thought Charvels were supposed to be hot-rodded guitars right outta the box? :D

I don't know man. My original 1984 Charvel has had at least 15-20 different pickups in it over the years. It had a brass, vintage style bridge and has since had 2 or 3 Floyds on it. I added a neck pickup. It's had about 5 different necks on it too but now one just like the original is on it. My original head stock got snapped off. That was the whole fun of those guitars. Experiment and customize until it is the exact guitar you want.

LOL I never leave anything alone. I changed the pots and Pickups in my Les Paul. Hell, I put strap locks on my '56 Les Paul. ;-)

Looks great, but you need another pot. ;)

:D I prefer the volume knob a little farther away!

Me too. It's always in my way. BTW you can order a custom pickguard from Warmoth.

That is the cool thing about these new Charvels, they are a good value and a solid platform to do what you want to make them more for you.

I want that white one so bad my dick hurts and scallope that fucker and load a yngwie guard in it

I almost bought a Yngwie guard for this one.

That white one doesn't have a pickguard, I don't think you could make a YJM guard work could you?

I doubt it, unless they give it a white pickguard. I would guess that it would come too close to their "artist" guitar policy otherwise.

I love that color and I like what you have done to it.. Id have one but I dont jive with the necks.

That is what Kurt said, that it would be like an artists and would scrub any chance to do a CS model for $4500
