Are those inlays yellow? If they are I like everything else except they yellow inlays and recessed floyd :)

I like everything except the use of yellow for no apparent reason... I like loud 80s colors, but not when they don't fit the guitar

Charvel's look very plain to me.
You should see the new Charvel Desolation series. More abalone than a Chinese banquet...

I know man - it makes me dizzy looking at pictures of it, but actually playing it is fine... :D

I've seen that checkerboard beast posted before here, sexy guitar!

As for the WC #7...what a shame to be so close yet so far. I'd be all over that thing, been hungry for an S H guitar with a Floyd (and I like the rosewood board personally, already gots my maple Charvel)....but the stark yellow inlays and headstock logo? Ouch, kills all the gas. Nimrods.

You know, if you got a good deal on the guitar, changing the fretboard dots wouldn't be a big deal at all. Probably about $50. If the yellow logo made you crazy, there are ways to fix that too. When a guitar is this specialized and for such a small niche, they rarely seem to be exactly what you want. Heck man, I saw this on my wall:

And was able to quite easily see that as the perfect springboard for what I thought would be a killer guitar, and this is what I did to get me there. A few fretboard dots replaced this was not. ;)

Yeah, that's another personal fav, great looking guitar, Chubtone, you truly personalized that thing (especially like the brass input jack), that's what it's all about with this line IMO (and the tone).

I didn't go as far as you but then I'm a bland dude by nature, lol...

I guess part of my initial 'damn, so many things I like about that guitar' thought is if only I didn't already have a white one. No biggie though, this WC will do well, best one they've come up in a while IMO. (=

reverymike, looks like they list rosewood for the fretboard on the specs/details page.

But it isn't white... it's grey primer...

If the damn neck heel was recessed I'd pick it up. I like everything else about it.

   I did not even think to look at the yellow dot inlays at first, as I was looking at the single and humbucker lay out.. I also did not pay attention to the color not being a white...
Bummer huh? Man that thing is close. Any one tell me how to get the yellow dots and logo changed with out making the guitar look cheap ? Thanks for the heads up Steve..... :)

Dude - SO easy - those inlays and even the logo can easily be changed by a decent luthier - MUCH cheaper than floyding Wild Card #6...

Steve

Ya know I never knew Curt took one of the so cal USA models and turned it into the Charvel with the pick guard and the single in the neck he just posted. That is a pretty cool idea also. I guess I could go that route with a so cal or even a san dimas if I can just live with the pick guard..
