Anybody on there with us last night? I'd love to get some feedback from anybody who was.

I was on last night. I had a question or 2 that got answered. It was nice. I don't think a lot of companies would take the time to do that.

I was fortunate enough to catch the last part of the chat, hope it becomes an ongoing venture. I bet that Egnater fans appreciated the opportunity to engage so directly, also hope it was fun for the Egnater crew too. Looking forward to the next chat.

I was on last night and had a question answered/responded to. I thought it was fun and great way to get questions answered that don't warrant flooding your guys inbox (as in my example, stuff about future products).

Yeah that was pretty cool and very unique.
That pretty much set me up as a customer for life.
And I'm pretty pumped about the Tweaker 40.
With it being all 6L6, it just might replace my Rebel 30.

Hey Ian, I was on for a bit. I thinks it's great that you guys are so available like that. It's amazing. I think it really makes owning an Egnater product feel like a more personal thing.
A couple thoughts on the chat.
1)Seemed like Bruce was sacrificing "in depth" answers to accommodate everyone's questions. In the future it may be useful (and possibly necessary) to exclude answering some questions so that other questions that warrant (not the band) longer answers can get the time they deserve.
2)I think picking and sticking to one or two topics may help.
3)Also, I would think that "tech support" questions should be excluded UNLESS it's a very common thing whereby the answer could help a lot of people.
4)It would be great to hear some personal stuff about you guys. What kind or music you like, what style of music you play...etc. I know it may seem weird that guys like us would care about that, but it really does add something to owning one of your products. Feels like there is heart and soul behind it.
5) potential topic ideas
-"The module of the future"-what would modular guys like to have in a module plus other mod questions
-"The right speaker and cab for the job"-what are the dynamics involved in different speaker and cab configurations
-"Class act"-what's the difference between class A and Class A/B single ended etc.
could probably think of these all night long, but you get the idea.

Anyway thanks for your terrific online presence. Keep up the excellent work Ian

Most radio talk call in shows have screeners who screen the calls. Might want to do something like that. Or have a topic of the week: "The topic for next week will be ______. Log in with your questions and comments on that!"

My two cents.

I appreciate the feedback guys. We are definitely going to look into weeding out the service questions, unless it's something we feel needs to get discussed. We are planning on making it more specific topics in the future chats. We only kept it general for this first one, to get everyone on there and see how it went. We were really happy with how it went though, so I can tell you guys that there will be another chat soon. It won't be this week, because of Thanksgiving, but it looks like the week after that probably. I will make announcements everywhere once it's ready to go though.

I was working, and missed it. For those of you that did catch it, any new info on the forthcoming Armageddon amp?

I don't believe anybody asked about it, if I remember correctly. But if you've got questions, I've got answers

Well, I've read pretty much everything I could find on this amp that's been released so far. I think it's got some truly great features.

I'm curious, if the tone circuits are a clean sheet design, or continuations/variations on some past designs? Is it still under development, or pretty much finalized and being road tested? Is it going to be made here, or overseas? That's not a deal breaker for me by any means, just curious. It's just I thought I read that Bruce had said it might be a limited run kind of a thing, and I wasn't sure if that meant in terms of where it was made.

Can't tell you guys how excited I am for this amp. If I were a rock star, and was asked to collaborate on a signature amp, it would pretty much be an Armageddon. Just a fantastic feature set, and I'm sure it's gonna sound fantastic. The matching cab seems killer too.

All of our amps are obviously a little similar, which just comes from my dad designing all of them. It has been specifically tweaked to be much more aggressive than our other models though. With that said, it is by no means a pre-scooped out sounding amp, but it has a great low end "thump" to it, and has more gain than most people will ever need I'm sure. It will be made over seas, which was really the only way to keep the prices where we wanted them to be(aprox. $1000 for Vengeance, and aprox. $1500 for Armageddon). I'm really happy to hear people are excited for this amp, since I'm much more of a heavy rock/metal player, so this amp has been something I pushed for. I promise you won't be disappointed with how it sounds. We are hoping to have some actual production samples ready at NAMM in January, so if all goes as planned, you'll probably see some good demos of the amp coming up.

Fantastic! I look forward to hearing more of this amp!

Thanks.

One more question :)

About the MIDI implementation. Is it a full-blown Amp Gizmo circuit in there? How will it work?

Oh! And do the cabs have the detachable 'track' style casters like some previous cabs? (okay - that's two questions...)

Thanks!

It's basically full function MIDI. CC and PC messages control everything on it. As for the casters, I don't know that we have made the final decision on that aspect. I am leaning towards saying it will have them, but don't quote me on it just yet.

Hey guys, doing this again tomorrow night, so spread the word!!! Hope to see some of you guys on there.

It's that time again! I'll see you guys in the live chat tonight!!!
