Currently thinking about the peavey triumph or the crate blue Voodoo any other ideas I'd like a 2 channel if possible

How cheap? Is shared EQ ok? Need reverb or effects loop?

I second the vote for JCA50H.

I can't find a crate stealth for the price I'm shooting for and I'd like a 2 channel ish one and an effects loop if possible. The lany is a great amp my friend has one it's a little on the pricey side from what I've seen. I'm thinking 150 to about 350 price wise.

That's really a low price you're after. Unless you're open to used amps then most of your options will probably be less reliable amps.

Killer for metal.
I'll second this. I've had a bunch, between the 50w and 100w both head and combos, and they are actually a 3 channel amp that has a great clean and killer loop. Takes boosts well too. I used to find them CHEAP and flip them on ebay. But I did gig with one once and sounded damn good, price notwithstanding. 75-400 bucks.
Katana is nice too.

I'm all about the used market not going to buy new although gc has a jca 50 for 318 new

Randall Diavlo RD45 is pretty cool, much better than the 100 watt version, very versatile despite being fronted as a strictly metal amp

Jet City Amelia.

Controls and functions like a Cornford MK50H II (2 channels, separate EQ, overdrive switch on top of gain, 2 master volumes) but costs only $500, or less if you pay attention to promo sales.

Marshall JCM 900 SLX 50 watt, 2 master volumes and a loop.

Gallien Krueger 250RL (not ML). Fits in a briefcase, can be found for under $200 and will blow your house down.

I was going to post this as well. Also an Ampeg VL502, or an old Traynor.

Truth. These are great amps, but they like to be cranked to get into the sweet-spot.
Which is why I stopped using mine at home. It's just too loud.
I had the combo version, but I took the chassis out of it, and threw the cab/speaker in the dumpster.
I made a custom head box for it. Black carpet covering, handle on top, rubber feet on the bottom,
aluminum treadplate on the front like a Recto, and a plexiglass window so you can see the tubes.
It has a shelf in the back to store cables and pedals.
It's goofy looking, because it's too big. I should take a picture of it. You guys would laugh.
It's in the closet right now. I want to re-CAP it later down the road. When I am in the mood to
do a project like that.
In the meantime..... KATANA HEAD is incoming! ( Should be here friday. )

For that price range you might check out the Peavey XXL. It's solid state but has tons of great tones and a loop.
