Cheap-o Hondo II Les PauL Custom

its all in spanish, dont bother reading it, basicly the guitar on sale is a Hondo II Les Paul Custom apparentlly Japanese , and made in the Year 1978, A close price so you have an idea is 350 dollars.. Now ive heard some ambiguous reviews about Hondos, some good , some bad...i need to hear your opinion...is this a good buy? (considering the amount of money being spent)

I had one of those back in the mid 80s. To me it was a great guitar - but then again, I was only 16 or so and didn't know any better. I think I bought it for around $200 used. I don't think I'd pay $350 for it though.

well 350 its pretty cheap for me, to give you an example a Epiphone LP Classic here costs around 430 dollars... so ...if this guitar is as some reviews say, "better than epiphone" i might just go for it.
