I used the 11R and tried to incorporate as many 80's cliche's as I could.

Nice, Sounds great!!  ,, as usual,, love the guitar BTW.

Sounds great!!! Nice 80's vibe...btw, what program are you running on your iPad?

Perfect monday morning jolt! Loved it, especially the guitar. Excellent vibrato too. :)

That was awesome man! :rawk:

Great tones too, what's the spec of that guitar? (woods/pups etc). Has a cool Lynch/LeTekro vibe to it!

:rawk:! Yeah Vlad awesome!

Listened to the clip last night quite a bit man...you did a great job all around .

Thanks guys!
To answer some questions...
I used the 11R for guitars and bass. The preset was the infamous 800 KRUNCH for rhythm and a preset I made off of 800 KRUNCH for lead which is the same preset with a few tweaks.

For recording, I used Logic Pro X on my macbook pro and the app running on the iPad was the Logic Remote. I used that so I can hit record on the video camera on the macbook pro and not have to flip back to Logic to press record.

The guitar is a Musikraft Charvel clone that I built back in 2008-2009 I think. The specs are as follows:
2 piece swamp ash body
1/4-sawn maple neck/fretboard with jumbo frets (22 frets)
Pickups are Duncan Custom in the bridge and Dimarzio Cruiser in the neck.
Original Floyd with an upgraded floyd block from FloydUpgrades.com. The floyd isn't recessed it sits directly on the body and only goes down.

That's it.

Sounds pretty good man. I could hear that late 80s - early 90s type of Dann Huff sound, but I didn't find it particularly cheesy or too cliche.

I was expecting some more scratchy thin solos with a harmoniser pedal, or that chorused Rockman Squawk AOR arena rock sound for the cheese! :D

No tapping in an 80s cliche' vid?

Son, I am dissapoint…

Oh, and

Steve
