That is an interesting point of view. Have you been to China? How did you like it?

I've never been and don't care to go. Have you been? I'd be interested in hearing your impressions.
I have. Things have changed there, and as an American citizen, I would not go back right now. Not out of fear. But for no reason to. I truly believe for a time that China had a forward thinking plan in place, but nationalism takes hold quickly and it gets ugly.

And now we can't buy a car because we farmed out all our chip manufacturing overseas. Who's making the chips for our planes and missiles and tanks????

Thanks for the reply. Very interesting.

When Special Interests, Share Holders, American Oligarchs, Big Banks and Corporate CEO's run a Country .... their favorite export is American jobs .

The United States has a great opportunity to build strong relationships with some truly great and vibrant nations in Southeast Asia. These are freedom loving, forward thinking, highly educated people. A lot of hearts and minds.

I try but have to rely on my friends to fill in the inevitable gaps.
I stopped relying on Frends or the Media to inform me .... or I'd be a Fox News, OAN or Info War idiot .
If one become intellectually lazy ....this is what happens .

Agree, just like our greed for cheap labor led to our illegal immigration problem.
They should levy a fine of $20,000 to employers, per illegal alien.
I asked an Illegal Alien, who has been in America 32 years, " Why don't you become a US Citizen ? ", he responded with, " Because that would reduce my chances of getting a job " ..... that says it all ....that says it all .

Or stop allowing Chinese nationals to buy up our farmland
