Describe the neck size? Overall thoughts on this model?

I've never held one but think they are awesome from the pics and specs.

I currently own three, all 6-string USA models. Love them.

Neck is on the strat/charvel spectrum - shred-y, but rounder and not super flat like an Ibanez Wizard.

They are very heavy guitars. All three of mine are 9lbs+. They're extremely well balanced, though, so the weight - to me - is far easier to manage than that same weight on, say, a Les Paul.

I love the 7-string neck, it's probably the fastest, most cofortable 7-string neck I ever played. If I didn't have my Dean RC7 I would've bought this one for sure. I'm keeping my eyes out for a good deal on a used one though.
Also the pickups, especially the neck, are amazinglingly articulate and super smooth for solos.

Hi,
I have the 7s in trans-black, and so far it's the best guitar I have owned.
It's heavy, that's clear, but sits really well with a strap, very well balanced.

The neck IMO is somewhere between a Ibanez and a ESP, but increadibly comfortable to play.
I had no problem to adapt to the 12" radius all over the fretboard.

I thought I would swap the PU cause I hate D-Activators but these ones are just very fine. They have a kind of Single Coilish attitude depending on how you attack the strings and your set up. Neck PU clean sound is suprisingly good.

The only things I changed since I got it last year are:
- Blocked the FR Pro cause I don't dive and I prefer fixed bridge.
- Change the string gauge from the stock 09-56 to 10-62.
- Raised the action a little bit to avoid more fret buzz.

The additional features like Killswitch, Coil Split and Tone bypass are very nice also...

Good Luck.
