Howdy All!

I'm new to the board and "Almost" a new member of the Diezel family. I've got a Herbert & Einstein 50 on the way & am coming apart at the seams with excitement tracking them every day! Just like a kid on Christmas Eve! Woohoo!

Anyway, I look forward to being a member of this board & the wealth of information ya'll can provide. I'll post an update when I receive the amps & probably have a few questions also.

Introduction:

I'm a middle aged guitar player that is still fortunate enough to squeak out a meager living playing full-time in the Northwest club scene. I've been using Boogie gear for the last twenty years or so & figured it was finally time to dump all that I had amassed so I could afford my "Dream Amps", the Herbert & Einstein! My current band is a 3 piece, we all sing lead/harmony and play every kind of cover music from George Strait to Alice in Chains. At this point, it's all about what the folks paying you want to hear! ;-) It's my first time in a trio and I don't think I ever want to play in any other format again if I don't have to! It's so nice not having to compete with a Keyboard or another Guitarist in the mix! I think me Diezels are going to like being an only child! Anyway, not that anyone really cares, I just thought a little "About Me" would be a polite first post.

peace,

Congradulations on deciding to get two of the greatest amps ever designed and built!
I as well have what you have ordered and play in a band as well. You will be able to get anything you need and desire from these amps. I hope they arrive soon and that you are totally happy with them.
I as well played on Mesa amps for 18 years and was on their artist roster list, but unloaded all of my Mesa gear long ago.

There is nothing in tone that compares with great german amps!

Hope You like it :scared:

Sir, first of all let me say that the fact that you even replied to my post further strengthens my resolve for purchasing your products. Secondly, thank all of you for the warm welcome. I alreadly know I'll love them! I demoed them about three years ago while on vacation in Las Vegas and have been jonesing for them every since. God forbid anything has happened to them in shipment, you will most likely never hear a bad word regarding these products from me.

Like I said in my earlier post, I've been a boogie guy for years, and though I had to sell alot of that gear to finance the Diezels, I have no remorse whatsoever. The only piece I kept was the Stage I Stiletto that I purchased when they first came out. Most people seem to hate 'em but for some reason I still dig this amp? In fact I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on these clips I made quite some time ago. It's all amateur and totally direct but I think they sound o.k.

Anyway, thank you all again! Inspiration is hard to come by these days and ya'll have given me little with your kindness.

It's Christmas Day! :rawk: :rawk: :rawk:

I received my Diezel's today and all I can say is "Sweet Jesus"!!! I have never in my life played anything that sounded so good and I've played or owned pretty much everything over the years. I want to personally thank Uwe for pointing me in the right direction, and also Ken at Ultrasound in New York for the excellent sales & service! And a great big thank's to Peter for building such an incredible product!
