Curt got back with me after I emailed in my order form (so easy like everyone had explained) and sent my down payment. So now I anxiously wait for six months....(begin weeping). LOL. Seriously though, really exciting going thru the period of waiting and anticipating how it will turn out. Here are the "basics":

Full disclosure, I am not really picky to be honest. But, figured if I'm going to order a guitar from a forum bud, might as well get what I want.

- Doing a "Standard" shape so more in the vein of a San Dimas, etc.
- German flag body scheme
- Going with as much gold hardware as possible. Floyd, tuners, knobs, you name it. Just think it will bring out the flag
- I did a birdseye maple neck, roasted. I have a roasted neck on my Mexican Charvel but wasn't going to do one for this guitar. I looked online at one they did and realized it will look good with the flag and gold hardware so decided to do it

Curt agrees this is going to be a cool one when it is finished. No matter what the end result is, I know it is going to look killer and most of all sound and play great. I look at this as a "F COVID-19" guitar. I've been quarantined and haven't been spending as much money. Screw it, I need some Chub. LOL!

I already know when I get this one, I'm going to want another....

I need another nice super strat and Chubtone is pretty high up on the list. Would probably need to find one used though and since I would prefer a hardtail, not likely going to happen.

It is going to be the 3 color stripes with some black "dusting" kind of added. Will have to see what they can do but wanted didn't want the flag to look too "clean".

That’s gonna be a killer build! His guitars and prices look unbeatable. I don’t understand why anybody would spend twice the cash for a CS Charvel or Luxxtone with these available.
I’m not a Strat guy, don’t like Floyd Rose, don’t like maple necks, prefer two humbuckers, and STILL, this red beauty fucking haunts me.

Me too. I'll prob just stick with solid color and roasty neck...or maybe a 2 hummer Guthrie model type of thing.

I ordered a guitar last week (from somewhere else) and I have a 14 to 18 week wait. Thats gonna be an eternity, I would hate to think what 6 months will be like.

I figured mine out and if its 18 weeks I should be getting it the week of Dec 7th. So yours is into 2021

Not sure if I mentioned it but talked to Curt and going to incorporate some brass and gold. Going more with a subdued look rather than the bright shiny gold. I think it will look much better with the overall look. I told Curt and Matt to use my ideas as a guide but to "go to town" so to speak. They are the experts and I know Curt is an 80s Charvel fan like I am. I trust he'll capture what I'm wanting, no doubt.
