Whooooaaa....anyone else digging this tune (track six) as much as I am? :D

I've probably played it 15 or 20 times; not just my favorite track on his CD, but one of my favorite instrumental tracks period.

There's some absolutely TERRIFYING chops going on in that tune. The hammered, then muted and hammered, then ascending picked stuff....it makes my head hurt :D

Curt- I'd love to see a video of you ripping that up...I'm having a hard time even comprehending how you're playing some of that shit..especially at about the three minute mark; some fast pentatonic thing that just goes into a machine gun stacatto thingy. ...holy shit. You have some serious dexterity, dude :bash:

Great effort man, it continues to impress the more I listen

Thanks man. I'm glad you like it. I just relearned that section you are talking about. I love machine gun type staccato stuff~!!!!! It's not a really hard thing but it does get a little stretchy and I don't have long fingers.

I don't think anyone's ever slowed down one of my licks before to learn it especially someone like you Darren who could show me a thing or two.

Like barzini said, maybe you could do a layaway on it.

Is Mr. Anderson about the old guy from Beavis and Butthead or about the guitar? One of my favorite episodes was when he was golfing and they kept stealing his ball after every shot.

Should be getting my copy any day now. Can't wait to check it out

Mr. Anderson was just taken from that scene in the Matrix where agent Smith is questioning Neo. He says, "As you can see, we've had our eye on you FOR SOME TIME NOW, Mr. Anderson. It seems you've been living two lives." And then the song was supposed to kick in but I had to remove the unlicensed samples because no one would duplicate it and iTunes wouldn't sell it. I really liked the line "For Some Time Now" so I used it for the title of the CD because it took me forever to finish it. Then I used the name Mr. Anderson because it was part of that scene and my last name. And naming instrumentals is a very hard thing to do.....
