Ill just paste...... its in la Craigslist.

Dude says he is Aspen Pittman, the founder of groove tubes. Think it's legit? I know they closed shop so it could be but I see a few red flags.

Selling off my large personal collection of nos vintage, and special production vacuum tubes. Most are NEW tubes, USA NOS vintage by GE, RCA, TUNGSOL, MULLARD, and some are new production prototypes from my own productions (I was the founder of Groove Tubes and built over a dozen unique exclusive tubes in my 30+ years of operation). Also, I have some USA made "pulls" of vintage collectible tubes that still "test good" with years of great tone left in them that sell for half the price of a new NOS NIB tube, and far less cost than those really bad sounding new production Russian tubes (with the vintage brand names like Gold Lion and Tungsol).

Some of the audio types I have are: 6SN7, 6SC7, 6SL7, 5Y3, 5U4, KT66, 6V6, 6L6, 6146B, 12AX7, 12AU7, 12AT7, 6550, KT88, EL34, 6CA7, 6DJ8, ETC. I can and will test any/all tubes before you buy them. I guarantee no duds and that you will be satisfied or your money refunded.

My vintage live tracking recording studio/vintage car restoration shop is located in the "Hhistoric and Visionary" City of San Fernando. Please call to just chat or make an appointment; Aspen 818-512-4500 Mon to Sat 9a to 6p PST (no late night calls please!)

Comments: Just found this site, I lost a hour or more just skimming and catching up with many folks I remember...MANY THANKS for this!
So, FYI, here's my short life story after CVHS: After (not quite) graduating and also (not quite) wanting another Summer school experience just to get that final Government credit I need to get my diploma (I vaguely recall this was over a dispute with my Government teacher, I think it was a Mr. Mabbit, who gave me an incomplete in the 2nd Semester in order to "teach me a lesson about respect"), I hit the road hitchhiking with my guitar to NYC to become a famous a folksinger (while the real folksingers were flocking FROM NYC to LA to make records). I wonder if there is anyone else out there who shared homeroom with me in the Folk Music Club? I would love hearing from them! That homeroom got me started in the music world, my career ever since! (too bad we've stopped financially supporting the Arts in school, no wonder our kids are getting so dumbed down today!)
Skipping the struggling musician years where my name changed to Richard "Aspen" Pittman (a stage name and my birth name from Mom's first husband), Aspen Pittman spent many years in the retail music business segment (1st Guitar Center employee in 1967). Got married to my High School flame and had one daughter, Autumn Pittman, who I would raise as a single Dad from her 2nd birthday to her current life as a top sales professional also in the Music Business. I started the Groove Tubes company in 1979, out of need to become a "stay at home Mom & Dad", that probably saved my life as the life of a music professional was hard on the body back then! Groove Tubes is a company specializing in guitar and recording electronics, mostly vacuum tube based. Hard to believe 30 years later we are in 1,000 music stores across America and in 35 countries, with division in UK and China. I am still operating and servicing the music community with my wonderful (German born) wife Sigrid (Sigi). Got a few patents along the way, still working on some. Fender and Guitar Center are among our biggest customers. I wrote a best seller, The Tube Amp Book, more than 110,000 copies sold about vintage guitar amps covering everything from history to servicing. I would love to retire if I can find the time!
Man, reading these pages and reflecting, I just wonder where did the time go? But now I found this Falcon site, it's in my "bookmarks", and I am looking forward to the next homecoming event or old class reunion. Now sure when that may be but as I have a bit more free time lately and also I am close, I finally may have the time to make it!
