:lol: :LOL: thought that was a Rick. A good friend of mine has a Rick that is 30 years old and sounds AMAZING even though it is beat up and scarred from years of gigging

Thanks all, so nice feedback - I was kinda proud to pull it off in one go ;)

Stoneage, you might be interested to know that it was a closed JCM800 1x12 cab (the one pictured at the bottom) with a G1265 Heritage (not so well broken in yet) - mic'ed with a SM57.
 
that sounded awesome man - you got some great feel in that solo! :thumbsup: Regular strat pickups in that strat? Was you straight in the amp or boosting? I'm guessing straight in, but I gotta ask :)

BareKnuckle Apache Single Coils in the strat, the bridge SC has a nickel base plate for more brooomth.

Not straight in, in fact it's an OCD, into a PB-1 booster, into the Marshall drive channel. :rock:
