Clean Boost on BE-100 Question

Just got my BE-100 and didn't realize the gain boost does not work on the clean channel. I guess that's why the advertisement called it a 3 channel amp. This is rather disappointing because the clean channel is very clean and doesn't have the versatility of the Smallbox clean channel. Is there a tweak or mod that will allow me to footswitch the boost on the clean channel so I don't have to use an overdrive pedal?

This is disappointing. $3700 and no gain control or boost for the clean channel seems like a huge oversight. I hope Friedman can do an affordable mod for me.
